Throw another Lamb Chop on the Barbie: New Website for Consumer & Trade is the home for All Things Lamb Down Under

Washington, D.C. – Meat & Livestock Australia, the folks who bring you Australian Lamb, has just launched a redesigned website for its growing number of time-pressed and health-conscious American fans and the restaurant trade. Designed with consumer and trade components, www.australian-lamb.com highlights the beauty and spirit of Oz featuring practical tips, recipes and information showcased by stunning photography.

Navigating the consumer pages couldn’t be easier, starting with a state-by-state guide to where to buy it, a backgrounder on Australian Lamb and nutritional information. The changing seasonal recipes—Honey-and-Garlic Australian Lamb Rack with Orzo Salad, Sage and Mint Australian Lamb Loin Chops on Pea Mash and Broiled Shoulder Lamb Chops with Aioli—are divided by cut and cooking method.

Beyond the recipes, tips and facts, the consumer pages showcase the team of Australian Lamb celebrity chef spokespeople including bios and fact sheets on DC’s Chef Jose Andres, Dallas’ Andrew Ormsby, and New York’s Anita Lo. These busy chefs and new faces including former White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib, will be working with Australian Lamb to develop additional recipes for the regularly updated site.

For journalists, www.australian-lamb.com offers a press room with television clips, articles, clips and backgrounders.

For the trade, Australian Lamb has put together a comprehensive guide to products, purchasing, food safety tips, suppliers as well some fantastic recipes.

Australian Lamb is an all-natural product — no artificial additives are used in production, and the lamb's succulent and mild taste is a result of Australia’s clean, pure environment.  Check it out at www.australian-lamb.com.
