COOKING GUIDE: GROUND LAMB Basic Cooking Instructions: Preheat grill, stove or broiler to medium to high heat. Mix ground lamb with salt and pepper and form into patties. Cook for 6-7 minutes, turning once or twice, until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Cooking Methods: Ground lamb is very versatile. It can be made into patties for grilling, meatballs for braising, meat loaf for baking, or it can be stewed into chili. Knowing when ground lamb is done: Ground lamb is done when the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Use a meat thermometer to verify the internal temperature.
